| SHIMANO STELLA SW 5000PG REEL. Saltwater heavy duty spinning reel for BIG gamefish. New 2003 model in the market. The new Stella SW reels come in 2 versions. HG ( High Gear ) or PG ( Power Gear ). Reel features wide diameter master gear that is 1.28 times larger than the FW4000 reel. EXTRA POWER!!! Master gear is directly attached to the handle resulting in a direct transmission of POWER!! Master gear is made from A7075 series super duralumin aircraft grade aluminium alloy. Further coated with a layer of black almite. Super corrosion resistant, high strength and lightweight. Pinion gear hardness is twice the old Stellas for reduced wear. Cold forged spool. Titanium coated zirconia spool ring that is 10 times harder than stainless steel. PURE carbon drag washer. No anti-reverse switch!! Maximum protection against dust and water. Direct oil lubrication port for easy one step lubrication. ARB ( anti rust bearings) 15 ball and 1 roller bearing on all models. 10 times more durable than those on existing reels. SEPTON handle knob that is comfortable and tactile free. There are many more minute features that are too numerous to list. The reel comes in a beautiful bright blue reel bag. ORIGINAL SPARE SPOOL included. "O" and "T" shape handle knobs provided for each reel. You get 2 different knobs with each reel (see pictures). Each reel comes with a professional set of Shimano grease (1 can) and light oil (1 can), not the cheap stuff. Gear ratio for the PG reel is 4.6:1. HG is 5.7:1. The color of this reel is similar to the AR series but in a stunning blue tone. Extremely beautiful and built to last more than just a lifetime.
